A Billion Lives: Upcoming Dates

A Billion Lives: Upcoming Dates

Great news for our Canadian vape family who have been waiting and hoping to see A Billion Lives in a city near them: 5 cities have been added. We were really excited to see that one of the cities, Calgary, is not only driving distance for us but that enough tickets have already been sold to confirm the January 31st viewing date. Also confirmed is Vancouver but there are still some tickets left for both cities.

Still pending are Halifax, Toronto and Ottawa, so if you're a vape shop operating in that area, a vaper, if you have a smoking friend who might benefit from seeing the movie, or a nonsmoking friend for that matter: jump on those tickets! The January 31st date will only be confirmed if enough tickets are sold.

This is not a movie strictly for the vaping crowd. Sure, we're probably its biggest fans, but the message needs to reach the wider public. Legislation has already been passed in many regions and is pending in many more. Our own Canadian Health Minister has put forth legislation and while it seems reasonable for the most part, there are areas of concern. We need to keep the conversation going.

We need to remember what this fight is about: saving lives.  Many lives have already been extended and quality of life improved, thanks to vaping. But there are a lot more who've yet to make the switch and we have to protect this option for them. The message in A Billion Lives can do a lot to further that cause, if it gets the proper support and visibility.

So grab your tickets if you haven't already, buy a ticket for a friend, promote the viewing through whatever means you can: let's do this!

*Other dates pending include Liverpool (Jan.16), Stockholm (Feb. 7) and Copenhagen (Feb.3).
