The new HexOhm O-Frame from Craving Vapor is getting a lot of buzz and we're already getting questions about how it compares to the V3.0. The internals are the exact same and the externals are very similar, with some small differences. We run down the specs, for your easy reference.
As you can see from the picture above, the size and shape of the O-frame and V3.0 are very close to the same. In terms of measurements, the O-Frame is 104 mm tall by 50.5 mm wide and 29 mm deep. The O-Frame is just slightly thicker than the V3.0 which comes in at 104 mm tall, 50.5 mm wide, and 27 mm deep. The O-Frame without batteries weighs in at 189 grams, slightly more than the powdercoat V3.0 which weighs 165 grams.
One of the notable differences is that the panels fitted in the O-Frame are not quite flush with the frame, protruding just slightly as seen in the picture above. And there are small, very discrete cut-outs at the bottom of the O-Frame making it very easy to remove the carbon fibre panels (picture below).
The new O-Frames are a beautiful addition to the HexOhm lineup and no doubt many a Craving Vapor fan will snap these up. As always, the O-Frame comes with Craving Vapor's lifetime warranty, making these mods a definite win in our books.
