Well, it’s over and we have lost. The allowable nicotine in e-liquid has been reduced to 20mg/ml. No more time for debate or to make any amendments, this turd is on the books and comes into force on July 23. That means that the last day a shop can legally sell you e-liquid over 20mg/ml is Thursday, July 22.
If you are one of the many thousands of Canadian vapers that use these products to stay off smoking I feel terribly for you and encourage you to stock up now. There are still many great shops that will be offering these products right up until the deadline, but after that the black market will be the only way to obtain any. Shop early to make sure you get the products that work for you.
Speaking of the black market, Health Canada seems determined to expand it even further with their proposed flavour ban. Read more about that HERE.
