Though this article from Jenesa Jeram, in The Spinoff, is written from a New Zealand perspective it does take a thoughtful, well considered position and is well worth reading. In North America, we're faced with some of the same issues and would do well to consider the role of regulation and the care that must be taken in crafting it, so as not to shut out all but the biggest players and/or stifle innovation.
